A Note from Kami

If you're reading this, it's because I thought of you. Before the Where You Belong: Companion Guide goes out into the world, I want to walk through it with a small group of people I trust. I'll be asking for your honest reactions: what moved you, what confused you, and what you'd change. Your fingerprints will be on this study for every person and small group who picks it up next.

What I'm Asking of You

  • Come to the sessions for your group

  • Share your feedback with me live at the end, and fill out a short form
  • Keep the unpublished materials just between us for now

Before You Say Yes

Each group has only 10 seats, and I'd love for every one of them to be filled with someone who can be there. Before you sign up, please look at the dates for your group and make sure you can reasonably plan to come to all (or nearly all) of them. Life happens, and I understand that. But if this season is already too full, it's okay to wait. There will be more chances to study together, and I'll be cheering you on either way.

Seats close when each group is full.

Choose Your Group

Each group is limited to 10 people.

Zoom Group

Tuesdays at 10:00 am PT / 12:00 pm CT / 1:00 pm ET

Each session runs under 90 minutes.

  • October 27: Intro and Q&A (15 minutes)
  • Sessions: November 3, 10, and 17; December 1, 8, and 15
  • Live feedback time right after our December 15 session

Each week, we'll talk about the past week's lesson, learn the new one, have time for questions, preview the next homework, and close in prayer. There's a short homework lesson to do on your own between sessions.

Between sessions, plan on about 45 minutes for the homework questions. I also encourage you to spend at least 10 minutes a day sitting with Scripture and practicing the week's spiritual practice as often as you can.

Can't make one? Every session is recorded and shared only with our group, so you can catch up. You'll print the study pages at home.

In-Person Group

At my home in Rancho Murieta, with breakfast and lunch provided

  • Saturday, November 21, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Saturday, December 5, 9:00 am to 2:30 pm (the last 30 minutes is feedback time)
  • Optional Zoom follow-up: Saturday, January 2, 10:00 to 10:30 am PT

Between our two Saturdays, you'll have homework to work through on your own, and those two weeks include Thanksgiving. Please don't stress about it. Do what you can, and bring whatever you have. If you don't finish everything, that's helpful for me to know too. You can complete the rest afterward, and we'll meet once more on Zoom on January 2 for 30 minutes to share final thoughts. I also encourage you to spend at least 10 minutes a day sitting with Scripture and practicing the spiritual practices as often as you can.

Printed study pages will be waiting for you. You'll get my address in your confirmation email.

Fair warning: two very big, very friendly doodles live here too. Let me know if you have allergies.

Not sure if this is a fit for you? Email me at kami@kamipassmore.com, and we'll talk.
